BIOGRAPHY

Every individual has a vision. But few can convey that vision in a way that stops you in your tracks and awakens a desire to take it in. Daniel's artistic success in the world of nature spans four decades. That success is due mainly to his unique compositional style, ability to see light, and tenacious desire to find that exceptional moment.

Throughout his long career, his unique view of nature has graced the pages of two National Geographic cover stories and thousands of other publications. In 2013 he was awarded NANPA's Outstanding Photographer of the Year and NANPA Fellow in 2020. He's the sole photographer of 20 books.
